Just got off the phone with the LV show manager, Jay, wanting to know if I would take a few more students in my class in Feb. I said yes to a dozen more...so if you are interested, call them now, a few seats are available.
This will be my last class (away from Myrtle Creek) for awhile, due to my parents health, am canceling future trips. (Other than to make up the seminars in Europe this Spring). I will resume travel teaching when I can leave home with confidence...I hope you all understand.

It is totally understandable your familiy priority. I wish them well. And a lot of strengh for you, emotionaly and physicaly.

I call Vegas and got my spot.
Could you please explain to me what do you mean by TINT, I am doing the penguin, and I am not sure what I am suppose to do.

Amira - It will be nice to meet you in Vegas, I hope you can bring one of your little cold-porcelain figures for me to see in person. Too cute! Typically a tint is a soft tone of color; side-load the given color in your brush, blend it out on your palette until it is a very soft, sheer (transparant) tone and then float it in the area shown. Hope that helps...
Cris - There are only a few seats available, but if you were to need more time, you can always get on the wait list and then maybe when you know more, you can check availability. Typically, there will be a cancellation or two. Thanks Amira for posting the info.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep it in mind for sure. I'd love to see if my mother would go with me. I think she would enjoy it just as much as I would. However, she is on a hunting trip and won't be back for a few days. |

Yes, I do remember you being in Qater...keep us posted how you like being there, I am sure we all would find it interesting. Are you painting much and did you get your drivers license?
I am not sure if there is room in those seminars, as they are make-ups from my recent cancellations....but I can check with the hostesses and will email you personally if there is, k?

Hi Jaime,Life has been interesting. I am getting used to the shopping and making friends over here. My painting supplies are on the sea shipment which is supposed to arrive near November 16th, but that could be delayed because of problems at the Doha docks. I am itching to paint. I want to order the breast cancer pins, but I want to wait for my brushes to arrive. There are very few stores that have painting supplies and are not easy to get to. Be thankful that in the US in most places the parking lots are large and there is plenty of parking. I didn't pass my driving test; I am taking lessons and will retake the test on November 18th. My husband did not pass either and his retest is scheduled December 9th. So we have been taking cabs everywhere to shop and go out to eat. My email is krfenter@gmail.com. Interesting...I can (can't!) imagine driving in Europe. They all drive so fast! Hope you can pass your driving test soon.
