This may be a dumb question but do you paint the sides of the pins?

Hi Dawn.
Sometimes I do paint the sides and sometimes I don't. When I do, I use a "foamy" brush made by Maxine who also does the "Mop" brushes. I think it is just a matter of opinion.

Hi Dawn,
Sometimes I paint it and sometimes not...depends on the color scheme I am going with. Like say, the pumpkins I did recently, I did not paint the sides...just left it the color of the laser cutting (a Raw Sienna-ish) - then checked it on the edges with Black.
Cris, the foamie is a great idea for the edges...or even one of those disposable eye make-up foam applicators? Easy.
